Hong Kong Police Make Significant Drug Discovery

Hong Kong police found 178 kilos of heroin, crystal meth and ketamine at a factory in Fanling on Sunday.

 

The hard drugs were hidden in 305 soft drink bottles and had a value of approximately 18.5 million euros.

The South China Morning Post reports this. This is the largest drug seizure in Hong Kong this year.

Two men aged 27 and 33, from countries in South Asia, have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking.

According to the police, they are members of an international drug syndicate.

The bottles were hidden in a thousand boxes containing more than 10,000 soda bottles. The suspects were arrested when they moved goods out of the building.
