Bill Gates Drops in List of Richest People Due to Divorce

Microsoft founder Bill Gates is no longer one of the richest people in the world. Instead, mainly due to the divorce from his wife Melinda, he drops to fifth place in the ranking of the richest people.

He had already fallen out of the top three earlier this year.

According to the American magazine Forbes, the exchange with Facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg. Gates is currently worth $129.6 billion, while Zuckerberg is now in fourth place with $132 billion.

Gates has been part of the select circle of top billionaires since 1987. As a result of the divorce, Melinda has already received more than 5 billion dollars. Amazon’s Jeff Bezos is considered the richest person.
