China Calls for Diplomacy to Resume

China has called through state media for the resumption of diplomacy in the conflict over Ukraine.

“The door to a peaceful solution is not yet completely closed and should never be closed,” Beijing said.

The Chinese UN ambassador stressed in New York that the situation should not get any further out of hand and that his country
therefore continues to hold talks with the parties concerned.

China calls the situation in Ukraine critical and is concerned about the fate of compatriots in that country.
