Former Trump Advisers Subpoenaed Over Capitol Storming
A U.S. House of Representatives committee on Thursday subpoenaed former advisers to former President Donald Trump for their role in the storming of the Capitol on January 6 this year.
Former chief of staff Mark Meadows and former adviser Steve Bannon, among others, will have to explain the storming of the American parliament building early next month, according to news site Politico.
The subpoenas mark a turning point in the investigation into Trump’s attempt to contest the results of the presidential election.
