Saudi Arabia: Virtual G20 Summit on November 21-22
The summit of the G20 countries, the 20 major economies, will be held virtually on 21 and 22 November. Saudi Arabia has announced this.
The summit will focus on protecting lives and restoring growth by addressing the vulnerabilities exposed during the corona pandemic and laying the foundations for a better future, the Saudi government said in a statement.
“The G20 has contributed more than $ 21 billion to support manufacturing, distribution and access to diagnostics, therapies and vaccines,” the statement said. It also injected $ 11 trillion to protect the global economy.
And launched a debt suspension initiative for the least developed countries, allowing them to delay $ 14 billion in debt payments due this year.
