Ukrainian President Condemns Bus Attack as War Crime

Ukraine has condemned an attack on a bus that is said to have killed at least nine people. President Volodymyr Zelensky said it was clearly a civilian target.
“It was an extremely brutal attack. Without a doubt, a deliberate war crime,” the Ukrainian leader responded on X. He also shared photos of the badly damaged vehicle.
The bus is said to have been the target of a Russian drone attack in the city of Marhanets. According to Zelensky, employees of a mining company were in the vehicle.
In addition to the nine deaths, almost 50 injuries have also been reported by regional authorities. Russia has not yet responded.
