Biden Accuses Trump of Blocking the Transfer of Power

The outgoing Trump administration is setting up “roadblocks” for a smooth transition of power, especially in defence. That is what the upcoming US president Joe Biden said on Monday.

 

“Right now, we just don’t get from the outgoing board all the information we need in terms of national security.

It’s nothing short of, in my opinion, irresponsibility,” Biden said in a speech from Wilmington, Delaware. ),

Trump refuses to admit he lost the November presidential election. He has not met Biden, and it is unclear whether he will do so before the inauguration on January 20.

Traditionally, the outgoing rulers work with the incoming team to ensure a smooth transition in the name of national interest.
