Daily Number of Infections in Germany Drops Below 17,000. The number of new corona infections in Germany has decreased further.

On Saturday, the daily number of new cases still exceeded 30,000, on Sunday it was almost 23,000 cases, and on Monday the number dropped to more than 16,600, according to figures from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the German RIVM.

The total number of infections in Germany has thus exceeded 1.5 million.

226 corona deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. The death toll thus comes to 26,275.
