Deaths in Apartment Building Collapse in Nigeria
At least six people were killed in the Nigerian city of Lagos when an apartment building collapsed.
The death toll is feared to rise further, as a total of 100 people may have been buried under the rubble.
The victims worked as construction workers on the building with just over twenty floors. The building collapsed Monday. In the search for survivors, in addition to bodies, four people were also pulled from the rubble alive.
It is not known what caused the apartment building to collapse. However, such disasters are more common in Nigeria, where poor building regulations and substandard materials are used.
