Number of New Corona Cases in Germany Down

In Germany, a lower number of new corona infections was detected in the past 24 hours than in the previous 24 hours.

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the German equivalent of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), reported 1176 new cases, more than 300 fewer than Tuesday.

The total number of corona infections detected in Germany thus comes to 253,474.

With nine deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll from the Covid-19 pandemic in Germany comes to 9,338, the RKI said.
