Quarter Billion in Trump And Republicans War Chest

Although US President Donald Trump is currently lagging behind his rival Joe Biden in the election polls, he has no complaints about lack of campaign money.

 

The Trump and Republican war chest raised $ 266 million in donations in the second quarter of this year.

In the month of June alone, Trump and the Republicans raised $ 131 million. That is the highest amount ever collected in a month.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his party raised $ 80.8 million for the November presidential election campaign in May.

With that, he collected more money for the first time every month than his Republican opponent Donald Trump.

The president had to make do with $ 74 million in May. That was 13 million more for him than a month earlier.
