Restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris Will Resume on Monday
Restoration work on the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, which burned down last year, will resume on Monday.
The restoration had come to a halt last month due to the corona crisis.
The restart will go gradually. Corona measures will be respected, the responsible authorities said.
On April 15, exactly one year after the devastating fire, President Emmanuel Macron emphasized his commitment to rebuild the cathedral in five years.
The repairs had to be interrupted earlier. Measures were needed better to protect workers from the lead in the rubble.
