Six Palestinians Killed in Israeli Raid on West Bank

In Nablus, north of the West Bank, at least six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli army raid on Wednesday. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reports this.

Some 73 people had to be taken to hospital for treatment. Many of them would have gunshot wounds, the ministry in Ramallah said. Six injured are reportedly in critical condition.

The Israeli army said it was conducting an operation in Nablus but did not release any further information.

According to various reports, Israeli soldiers surrounded a house in the city during a raid, which led to clashes with militant Palestinians. Eyewitnesses report explosions and gunshots.
