Transavia Will Keep Aircraft on the Ground for the Time Being

Airline Transavia will cancel all flights from Monday due to the corona crisis. In any case, the measures will last until April 15.

The airline will decide weekly whether the term will be extended. Passengers are informed about this and receive a voucher equal to the value of their trip. Flight operations for the repatriation of stranded passengers will continue where necessary.

Airplanes remain on the ground because almost no ticket is sold anymore. The imposed travel restrictions do not do the sector any good either.

Because of this created uncertainty, the society decided to create clarity for passengers and partners for a more extended period.

Transavia is not the only airline that has to discontinue its flights. Ryanair and EasyJet, among others, are forced to keep almost all aircraft on the ground due to the corona crisis.
