Volodymyr Zelensky Visits Kherson After Liberation
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky went to see Kherson on Monday. According to a spring which works for the president.
It was Zelensky’s first visit to the southern city since it was liberated by Ukrainian troops last week.
Russian troops withdrew from Kherson a few days earlier after an eight-month occupation, clearing the way for Ukrainian soldiers to enter the city on Friday.
The Kremlin responded to Zelensky’s visit, saying Kherson belongs to Russia. “We are not going to say anything about this, but you know well enough that this is the territory of the Russian Federation,” said spokesman Dmitri Peskov.
