Bitcoin Continues to Skyrocket Due to Uncertainty in US Elections

The price of the virtual currency bitcoin continues to rise, now that two days after the American elections it is not yet known who the president will be in the coming years.

 

A bitcoin is now worth more than $ 15,500, the highest level since January 2018 and 10 percent more than 24 hours ago.

Experts in virtual money think that uncertainty about who will be in the White House in Washington, President Donald Trump or his Democratic challenger Joe Biden, is contributing to the advance.

Virtual currencies have been on the rise lately anyway. Since March, bitcoin’s value has tripled.

The all-time high ever reached was in December 2017 when a bitcoin was worth nearly $ 20,000. After that, the price plummeted.
