Kyiv Reports Another Heavy Blow to the Russians: 500 Killed and Wounded
According to Kyiv, 400 Russian soldiers were killed in an attack on a school building occupied by Russian troops. Moscow keeps it at 63. And now Kyiv reports that it has dealt another heavy blow to the Russians.
In the Kherson region (in southern Ukraine), the Ukrainian army has again inflicted heavy casualties on Russian troops with an artillery attack. Near the village of Chulakivka, enemy troops and military equipment are said to have been hit, the Ukrainian General Staff reports.
Enemy losses amount to 500 dead and wounded. The attack is said to have taken place on New Year’s Eve. However, the information has not yet been independently verified.
According to the Ukrainian General Staff, Russian units in the village of Fedorivka were also hit a day later. How many victims would have fallen there has not been disclosed. Fedorivka and Chulakivka lie on the southeast side of the Dnieper River in the Russian-occupied part of Kherson.
On Monday, the Ukrainian army announced that dozens of Russian soldiers had died in a rocket attack on Makijivka, an eastern Ukrainian city controlled by the Russian army. Although, according to Kyiv, 400 Russian soldiers have been killed, the Russian Defense Ministry reports 63 dead.
