Kyiv: Russia Supplies New Missiles to Belarus

According to Kyiv, Ukraine’s army command said based on military intelligence on Sunday evening. The Russian army is preparing to carry out new missile strikes on Ukraine by transporting new projectiles for launch pads to Belarus.

The missiles would be stationed at a unit in southeastern Belarus and would be intended for use with an Iskander weapon system.

These missiles can be equipped with nuclear warheads. The German news agency DPA was unable to verify the information independently.

Earlier this month, Russia already announced that it would soon supply “modern” military equipment to neighbouring Belarus, the main ally of the Russians.

The Russian army has already sent thousands of soldiers into Ukraine via Belarus.
