More Than 52,000 Corona Infections in Germany

The number of infection cases in Germany with the coronavirus rose to 52,000 on Saturday. This is reported by the DPA news agency based on figures from the federal states.

 

The number of deaths has been increased to above 366.

North Rhine-Westphalia, bordering the Netherlands, is the worst affected region with 12,700 cases of contamination, followed by Bavaria with at least 11,800 cases.

Relatively speaking, Hamburg is in the worst shape, with 105.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Nationally, that figure is 62.7.

Several Germans have also succumbed to the lung virus abroad. Two deaths are reported from Egypt, one in Cyprus and one in Crete.
