Russia Can Come to the Rescue of the EU With Sputnik V Vaccine

Russia has offered to help the European Union with the Russian corona vaccine Sputnik V, because the EU would receive too few vaccines, particularly from the pharmaceuticals of the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca.

In the second quarter, the country could help the EU with 100 million doses, according to authorities.

The European medicines authorities have not yet approved the vaccine that has been vaccinated in Russia for months (EMA).

Still, a request has just been submitted, according to the Russian spokesmen. Hungary independently ordered two million doses of Sputnik V last week.

The vaccine has been administered experimentally since August and has now been officially approved in at least fifteen countries.
