Suspect Admits Guilt After Fatal Stabbing in Southport

The man suspected of stabbing three girls to death in Southport, Northern England, has admitted his guilt in court to three murders and ten attempted murders.
The stabbing took place in July last year and led to national outrage and riots.
Three girls aged 6, 7 and 9 were stabbed to death during a dance lesson to Taylor Swift’s music. Eight other children were injured, as were two adults who tried to protect the children.
A 17-year-old suspect, Axel Rudakubana, was quickly arrested. He is now 18.
Rudakubana also admitted his guilt in court in Liverpool to producing the toxic substance ricin and possessing an al-Qaeda training manual. The judge will deliver his verdict on Thursday.
