Earthquake in Afghanistan, More Than 100 Dead
At least 130 people have been killed in a magnitude 6.1 earthquake that hit Afghanistan on Tuesday night.
Mohammad Nassim Haqqani, the head of the Taliban government’s emergency response service, said most of the casualties were in the eastern province of Paktika.
At least 100 people were killed and 250 people injured.
Deaths have also been reported in nearby Nangarhar and Khost provinces.
