SpaceX’s Mars Rocket Does Make A Successful Landing This Time

A prototype of the Starship, a fully reusable SpaceX rocket system for missions to, for example, the moon and Mars, successfully landed on Wednesday.

Previously, three test flights had led to spectacular explosions.

SpaceX Starship Number 15 was launched on Wednesday from the test site near Boca Chica Village in southern Texas. The video shows how flames escaped from the base of the rocket shortly after landing, although according to SpaceX, this is not abnormal.

Starship is a fully reusable spacecraft designed to transport people to the Moon, Mars and other planets. The gigantic missile should be able to transport a hundred people at the same time.

SpaceX is the American space company of Elon Musk, also the man behind Tesla and payment service PayPal.
