The US Demands Action After Murder of Citizen in Pakistani Court

The United States demanded action Thursday for the murder of a U.S. citizen in a Pakistani court.

 

He was on trial for blasphemy, and the US had previously urged Pakistan to protect him.

The United States Department of State announced that it is Ahmad Nasim.

He is a member of the Ahmadiyya community, a moderate Muslim movement. Many Muslims do not consider them Muslims.

The man is said to have been lured to Pakistan from his home in Illinois, according to the ministry.
