Trump Lashes Out at Thunberg: Ridiculous that She is Person of the Year

The American president Donald Trump has lashed out at the Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg. He tweeted that he finds it ridiculous that the weekly Time magazine has named her Person of the Year.

 

This is so ridiculous, Greta has to do something about her anger management problem and go to a good old-fashioned movie with a friend. Relax Greta, relax!

The activist has adjusted her Twitter bio in response. It now says that she is a teenager working on her anger control which is currently relaxing and watching a movie with a friend.

Trump (73) was the Person of the Year at Time in 2016. The 16-year-old Thunberg is Time’s youngest Person of the Year ever. In the summer of 2018, she started truancy and campaigning for the Swedish parliament in Stockholm to stop greenhouse gas emissions.

She was followed internationally. Pupils and students around the world demonstrated in September for more attention to the climate.
